Fall Camping: Post 2: Campfire Pancakes

I love gathering around the campfire and making food! There are so many fun things you can cook up on a fire.  We decided to make hobo stew for one dinner. It was so yummy. You just cut up potatoes, carrots, onions, green pepper, (any veggie) and add a meat (we did hamburger). Just wrap it all up in foil and cook over the fire.  It hits the spot!

My favorite camp meal has to be breakfast though. Mmmm, the smell of sausage and bacon cooking on the fire is so delightful. We had bacon and eggs one morning with those little mini boxes of cereal that you can eat out of. I know they are kinda a waste of money, but they're so fun! They bring back lots of memories.

Our last morning, we had banana chocolate chip pancakes. They were sooooo good! We cooked up some sausage on the side too. What a combo. Yum. Here's a few pics of our pancake feast.

 Mmmmm.  There's nothing like it.

Hope you're having a great day!
