More Color Decisions

I'm just about ready to send some designs for my pillows to the printer!  I'm so excited. I just have a few more decisions to make about color combos and inks. 

My plan is to send just a couple designs in and get sewing on those. I plan on having up to twenty total pillow designs. That's a lot of pillows...and a lot of decisions to make. I'm really excited about the designs that we're gonna have printed first.  I think they are going to be really fun! 

I had all this laid out on the floor yesterday and told Justin, "It's really happening!"  I am so giddy about it.  These are all the fabric swatches and ink samples that Bigfish let me take home. They have been so helpful!

Blues and Greens

I decided that I am attracted to greens and blues.  I've been thinking about green curtains in the living room and using accents in the room with this soft blue color...what do you think?

Neutral Cowgirl

As long as I can remember, I have loved dressing up.  I guess I just like how clothes offer options.  I love prints and fabrics and texture and how so many styles can be thrown together to make something new.  Every time I look at blogs that have clothing posts, I get really excited.  I thought hey, why not do some of my own.  I am not AT ALL trying to say "look at me"...I just wanted to share how it is fun for me.  Hope it is fun for you too...

I couldn't believe how amazing it was this weekend...I mean PERFECT.  We opened every window in our house and let the breeze flow in.  That also meant that I got to dig out my fall boots!  I love fall.  It is my favorite season.  Nothing like crisp nights, hot cider, and a little breeze.

I've got the Blues...

Love these blue rooms! Sometimes blue can be a risky color. I love what they've done here though with just going all out bold!  It's so much fun!

I'm being so safe with our house lately.  I've gotta get some color somewhere!  My family keeps telling me they're surprised so far with my color choices...or lack of.  I just don't want anything that I'll get tired of too soon. I'm wanting pops of color, but am just trying to figure out where to put them!  I'm very inspired by just looking at spaces like these.

Off the Path...

It is just my personality to not want to stick to a certain routine or schedule.  And to be honest, I'm battling myself about my little blog schedule I've set up.  Sometimes I want to write about decorating on a monday...or baking cupcakes on a Friday!  So I've decided to stick with the topics, but try leaving the "when" up to however I feel...we'll see how that goes!  

Today I feel like writing about color palettes because we got the house!  We should be able to move in Next Friday.  I can't even wait!  I wish I had pictures of the inside of the house to show you, but I don't yet.  Soon.  It is such a good mixture of what we both wanted.  I think we both had to give in on a few things, but we are so thankful and happy for what we have.  We went to Wal-Mart a few nights ago and picked out a bunch of paint swatches.
